We are seeking a seasoned Senior Fire Protection Project Coordinator to join our client in London.

Alecto Recruitment is proud to collaborate with this leading commercial and retail firm, which has built an impressive portfolio of projects. To further expand their services, they need a skilled project coordinator to oversee fire sprinkler systems installations across various commercial and residential projects.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of projects while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources from initiation to completion, guaranteeing all deliverables meet required safety and quality standards.
  • Client & Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project objectives align with client expectations.
  • Team Oversight: Supervise a skilled team of engineers and subcontractors, ensuring work is done efficiently and meets industry codes and regulations.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all project activities comply with fire safety regulations and produce relevant documentation, including risk assessments, compliance reports, and system certificates.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct site inspections and audits to verify that installations meet design specifications and operational standards.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve project issues, providing solutions for any technical challenges that arise during installation and commissioning.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Prior experience in fire sprinkler system project management within the construction or fire protection industry.
  • A strong understanding of fire safety standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent project coordination skills, with experience handling multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Relevant certifications in project management and fire protection (e.g., LPCB, FPA) are advantageous.

This position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with industry standards, estimated to be around £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
