Job Title: Senior Project Professional

Location: Barrow-in-Furness – We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements.

Salary: £40,748 – depending on skills & experience

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing project plans, setting deliverables that align to the technical programme, identifying and supporting progress using project controls methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing project plans, setting deliverables that align to the technical programme, identifying and supporting progress using project controls methodologies
  • Monitoring, tracking and reporting on progress
  • Controlling change using governed procedures
  • Providing support on Project Management issues and proposing solutions in line with the programme strategy
  • Supporting the plan on a page with stakeholders
  • Developing plans including scope, timelines, budget and resource allocation
  • Supporting the Project Manager in delivering tasks

Requirements:

  • Experience in applicable software including SharePoint, Microsoft Office, Confluence and JIRA
  • Experience in Project Management and Control (PM&C), ability to apply PM methodologies and tools
  • Confident in communicating with stakeholders to ensure an agreed project approach
  • Ability to perform advanced project reporting and scheduling

About the Team:

The Controls & Instrumentation Team is responsible for developing sensors, alarms, controls and management system. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
