Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Lancaster-based primary school.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with autism.

In this role, you will provide invaluable support to children in EYFS, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

You will work closely with teachers to develop and implement tailored support plans, ensuring that every child receives the best possible education.

This part-time position offers an attractive salary package, with daily rates ranging from £90 to £110, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with learning difficulties, including those with autism.
  • Develop and implement individualised learning plans in collaboration with teachers.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and contribute to their assessments.
  • Provide one-to-one support to children, promoting independence and confidence.
Requirements:
  • Valid right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS Check.
  • Relevant teaching assistant qualifications or degree.
  • Professional references covering the past two years.
  • Experience working in a UK primary school setting.
  • Proven track record of supporting children with SEN, particularly autism.
Contract Details:

This is an ongoing part-time role with a competitive salary package.

Daily pay: £90 - £110, dependent on experience.
