Fleet Maintenance Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Specialist to join our team based in Somerset. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth maintenance and operation of our ambulance fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing vehicle off-road status and updating daily records
  • E nsuring defects are promptly cleared and vehicle deep cleans are completed with supporting documentation
  • C oordinating scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • C arrying out checks and replacements of electrical components, within EMED guidelines
  • E nsuring adequate supply of basic spare parts are available and maintained within the Leicester Contract and any defects reported as per the defect process
  • W orking safely, ensuring Health and Safety and COSHH regulations are adhered to
Requirements:
  • H olding a full, current driving license for driving in the UK
  • E xperiencing repairing and servicing mechanical products
  • E xperiencing using practical and mechanical skills
  • A bility to read and interpret blown view drawings
  • D emonstrating the ability to identify improvements to processes and services
Salary and Benefits:
  • $11.94 per hour
  • 37.5 hours per week, spread over 5 shifts within a working week – 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday
