Equipment Development Engineer

At Redline Group Ltd, we are seeking an experienced Equipment Development Engineer to join our Process Engineering Team based in Portchester, Hampshire. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new equipment and processes associated with manufacturing at our facility in Portsmouth.
Your main duties will involve:
• Designing and developing new equipment and processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new equipment and processes into existing manufacturing workflows
• Analyzing and resolving process/product issues to maintain production output
• Implementing diagnostic procedures, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans for test/yield issues
• Identifying and implementing process improvements, including the development of jigs, fixtures, and tooling
• Managing process/product change implementations
• Developing, validating (PFMEA), and introducing new production/test processes
• Investigating new technologies
Requirements and Benefits
To excel in this position, you should possess experience in lean operational implementations, project management of improvement and capital projects, preferably in the aerospace/defence sector or electronics manufacturing industry. We offer a competitive salary of £58,000 - £68,000 per annum, depending on experience.
