About the Role

This is a junior level position, designed for an individual with some previous Telecoms experience to gain the necessary engineering skills to eventually develop into a Telecoms (UC/CC) Project Engineer. You'll be part of a structured training plan, mentored by experienced engineers and project managers, and guided through a customer environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project documentation, daily paperwork, and project administration
  • Project incident logging
  • Installation and configuration of hardware and software applications at customer premises and remotely
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution
  • Remote programming for additional works and system-related changes
  • End-user training for products installed
  • Effective liaison with customers and 3rd parties involved
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year's Telecoms industry experience, ideally in a provisioning or service desk role
  • Experience of liaising with customers and 3rd parties, with the ability to demonstrate focused customer care skills
  • A basic understanding of unified communications
  • A basic understanding of and the ability to navigate through partner portals
  • PC literate, with a minimum of intermediate level experience in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A capable mindset and full ownership qualities to see a fault through to the end
  • Strong communication skills
