We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Dementia Support Volunteer Advocate. As a valued member of our community, you will play a vital role in supporting people affected by dementia in their local area.

The estimated salary for this position is £11.50 per hour based on the UK National Living Wage, which reflects the importance of your contribution to our mission.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for individuals with dementia, providing emotional support, and encouraging social interaction. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop and implement personalized plans that cater to the unique needs of each participant.

Your tasks will include:

  • Welcoming and engaging with participants at our weekly seated exercise group
  • Providing refreshments and ensuring a comfortable setting
  • Supporting participants in accessing information and resources
  • Collaborating with our team to identify and address any challenges or concerns
