Purchasing Coordinator

This is a full-time, permanent position with hours of 08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday and 08:45 to 16:00 on Friday. The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team at First Base. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for coordinating deliveries and returns, managing documentation, and ensuring timely delivery of sales orders within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with customers, transport partners, and internal stakeholders for deliveries or returns.
  • Prepare and manage invoice and dispatch documentation.
  • Prepare import/export documentation according to current international regulations.
  • Coordinate veterinary appointments required for vehicle deliveries.

Requirements
  • Experience with SAP or SAP B1 is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • GCSE Grade B or equivalent in Maths and English (written and verbal).
  • Excellent time management and a flexible approach to work.
  • Full clean driving licence.
