Digital Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled Digital Project Manager to join our team at Healthcare Improvement Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a new digital solution to support the effective management of NHS Scotland volunteering.

The project will involve the creation of a new national minimum data set for NHS Scotland Volunteering and the associated processes that a new digital solution will be required to support. The successful candidate will develop and deliver a plan to support NHS boards to bring the quality of their existing data up to the required standard in advance of migration to the new system, and plan and manage the migration of all NHS boards to the new system.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing digital projects and be able to prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and work with a diverse range of professionals and members of the public. Knowledge of Information Governance and IT security would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project manage key aspects of the NHS Scotland Volunteering Management System project
  • Develop and deliver a plan to support NHS boards to bring the quality of their existing data up to the required standard
  • Plan and manage the migration of all NHS boards to the new system

Requirements:

  • Experience in managing digital projects
  • Ability to prioritise workload, manage deadlines, and work with a diverse range of professionals and members of the public
  • Knowledge of Information Governance and IT security

Working Arrangements:

The role will be based in Edinburgh/Glasgow and will involve routine travel for in-person meetings, site visits, workshops, and events.
