About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Renaissance London Heathrow. As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and hotel premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Security Manager in implementing security measures to protect the hotel and its surroundings.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras and assist with investigations when necessary.
  • Conduct regular security patrols to prevent unauthorized access and ensure compliance with fire and health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct random checks of key registers and locker checks to ensure hotel policies are adhered to and report any discrepancies.
  • Ensure no undesirable loitering in or around the hotel premises.
  • Be alert for any unusual packages, guests, or vehicles and advise the Security Manager accordingly.
Requirements
  • Confidence and professionalism when interacting with guests.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to handle disciplinary or criminal cases correctly and securely.
  • Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
  • 4-star hotel experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • SIA Licence is a must.
