PLC Software Engineer

PLC Software Engineer Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled PLC Software Engineer to join our team at Samuel Frank Associates. As a PLC Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing software for industrial automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret customer and regulatory requirements to ensure software designs are aligned.
- Maintain design quality throughout the project.
- Communicate project status to the Software Manager, internal and external customers, and suppliers.
- Conduct assessments and generate technical documents to support compliance with British and international standards.
- Develop PLC software using Siemens or Rockwell systems.
- Produce high-quality Functional Design Specifications (FDS) and FAT documentation.
- Network common automation hardware, including EtherNET/IP, ProfiNET, Profibus, and Modbus.
- Apply machine safety knowledge.
Working Conditions:
39-hour working week, office-based role with flexible/core hours system.
