Maintenance Engineer Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled maintenance engineer to join our client's team in Derbyshire. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks and resolving technical issues on-site.

About the Role:

This role involves working on a variety of machinery and equipment, including CNC machines, hydraulic systems, and electrical devices. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all work is carried out safely and efficiently, and that general housekeeping standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely undertaking all work and maintaining good housekeeping standards
  • Following standard work procedures and obtaining necessary permits when required
  • Diagnosing faults on plant and equipment, and establishing methods for rectification
  • Ensuring any relevant start-up procedures are performed after repairs
  • Carrying out mechanical and electrical work within their level of competence

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Experience with maintenance on CNC Machine Tools, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical devices
  • Ability to read drawings and diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Salary and Benefits:

An estimated salary of £19.36 per hour, with opportunities for regular overtime at a rate of x1.5. Our client is based in Ripley, Derbyshire, and offers a permanent position with full-time hours.
