Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SEMH Teacher to join our team in Gloucester. As a SEMH Teacher, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and support to students with Special Educational Needs and Mental Health requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored educational plans to meet the needs of students with SEMH requirements
  • Collaborate with the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to students to promote academic and personal growth
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEMH

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialization in SEMH or a related field
  • Experience working with students with SEMH requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
