Job Title: Nursery Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our early years education team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Montessori pedagogy and a proven track record of delivering high-quality childcare and education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and high-quality education and care for children attending the nursery.
• Fulfil legal and statutory requirements and supervise staff on a day-to-day basis.
• Contribute to and implement policies, leading a team and managing effectively and efficiently.
• Manage the provision of the nursery, ensuring maximum capacity and meeting financial targets.
• Agree and set nursery goals, monitoring progress against targets and maintaining high-quality provision.
• Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs.

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 3 Montessori Pedagogy qualification.
• Team Leadership/Management experience.
• Nursery experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and current Ofsted statutory guidance.
• Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning opportunities.
• Knowledge of and commitment to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion.
