About the Job

This SEN teaching assistant role offers an exciting opportunity to work with students with special educational needs in our Nottingham-based school. As a dedicated and passionate professional, you will contribute to a supportive team that provides exceptional education and care to our students.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in SEN education, with a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Childcare, or a related field. Additional qualifications or training specific to SEN are also highly desirable.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering inclusive education to students with varying special educational needs
  • Assisting with lesson planning and implementation, including adapting materials and resources as needed
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure seamless communication and support

A salary of £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, based on experience, reflects the importance of this role in providing exceptional support and education to our students.
