An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and flexible Speech and Language Therapist to gain experience with adults in a dynamic acute setting. You will be joining an established and well-supported Speech and Language Therapy team, and will have an opportunity to develop specialist skills supported by a highly skilled senior therapy team.

Main Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating adult inpatients. Key duties include:

  • Providing high-standard assessments, diagnoses, and treatments of acute and chronic inpatients, and associated outpatient activity.
  • Developing effective treatment plans based on evidence-based research, seeking guidance from senior speech and language therapists when necessary.
  • Participating in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) using evidence-based practice, audits, and published research to inform own practice and take an active role in own professional development.
  • Contributing to the bank holiday rota.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
