Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our design team at Technical Global Solutions. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects by providing technical expertise and support to our engineers and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modeling and Drawing: Create accurate and detailed models and drawings of mechanical and electrical designs to ensure projects can be constructed with minimal rework.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Attend weekly internal model and design team meetings, as well as project BIM meetings with main contractors, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Model Management: Ensure the latest models, drawings, and designs from all stakeholders are used and notify engineers and site teams of any changes.
  • Revit Modeling: Generate Revit models from senior engineers' outputs, including sketches, Hevacomp, Cymap, DIALux, and Relux.
  • Family Creation: Create Revit families where manufacturer files are not available.
  • Model Skids and Modules: Develop model skids and modules to enable offsite manufacturing and delivery to site.
  • Clash Reporting and Resolution: Manage clash reporting and resolution between disciplines.
  • Cloud Model Management: Maintain ACC/BIM360 cloud models and reporting.
  • Technical Assistance: Provide technical assistance to project teams as required.
  • Integration of Cloud Point Surveys: Integrate cloud point surveys into our models.
  • Compliance and EHSQ: Ensure compliance with all project BIM documentation and EHSQ policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Revit MEP Experience: Previous experience in Revit MEP in the construction/building services field.
  • Relevant Qualification: Relevant qualification in BIM or Mechanical or Electrical engineering is beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate in a professional and timely manner, both in person and via email.
