About the Role
Rivermead Care Home is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs and goals of each resident
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing emotional support
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to identify changes in resident condition and adjust care plans accordingly
- Document resident progress, including medical history, treatment plans, and outcomes
Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
- Good knowledge of current clinical practices and regulations
- Experience in producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines
