We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
Main Duties- Provide labour ward on-call cover on the registrars rota as second on-call
- Provide cover for a wide variety of Antenatal and Gynaecology clinics & theatres
- Work with colleagues, both medical and allied health professionals to improve and advance the service
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Department
- Share with colleagues the responsibility for teaching and training of trainees, junior medical staff, nursing staff, primary care colleagues and medical students
- Have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD)

Person Specification- MBchB/MBBS or equivalent
- Completed at least four years' full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty, or equivalent experience and competencies
- Part 1 MRCOG
- Must have or be eligible for full registration with the General Medical Council at time of appointment and continue to hold a License to Practise
