Job Description

Quality Assurance Lead - Altrincham

Candour Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Lead to join our team in Altrincham. As a Quality Assurance Lead, you will be responsible for building a robust testing framework and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Mentoring: Provide guidance and support to the quality assurance team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Test Automation: Design and implement a scalable and maintainable automated testing framework to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Coordinate the entire QA process, from initial planning through execution to final reporting.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Development, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements and create acceptance criteria.
  • Quality Assurance: Validate that all deliverables meet defined quality standards and acceptance criteria before deployment.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Proven leadership capabilities with experience in mentoring and guiding teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead QA Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Automation Framework: Demonstrated expertise in building automation frameworks and integrating automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

A technical task may be involved in the interview process.
