Forensic Accountant

Job Description:
As a Forensic Accountant at HMRC, you will play a crucial role in investigating and analyzing financial evidence to aid in criminal investigations and anti-money laundering interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial records to identify potential discrepancies and irregularities.
- Communicate with case teams to provide independent and objective accounting advice.
- Prepare and present findings to the lead accountant and other stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training to upskill accountancy colleagues and case workers.
Requirements:
- Full and complete qualification from a recognized professional accounting body.
- Continuing membership of a professional accounting body.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
