Rheumatology Hand Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Rheumatology and Hand Therapy team in Dundee.

This is a Band 6 permanent post, working 37 hours per week (1WTE) with a split of 3 days in Rheumatology and 2 days in Hand Therapy.

• Provide specialist Occupational Therapy intervention in our Rheumatology and Hand Therapy service based within Ninewells Hospital.
• Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and contribute to the development of the service.
• Have responsibility for patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge, as well as supervision and education of junior staff.
• Be involved in Clinical Governance and Clinical Effectiveness and Research.

• Relevant experience working as an Occupational Therapist in physical rehabilitation.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
• A special interest in Rheumatology and Hand Therapy.

• Competitive salary: £40,506 - £53,619 per annum (£36.49 - £48.95 per hour).
