Apprentice Accounting Technician

This position involves working as part of a team to provide financial support to the Leighton Buzzard site. Key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing accounts, reconciliations, and journal entries. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work accurately and efficiently, and have experience using Microsoft Office products. A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum is offered, plus a range of benefits including 25 days annual leave + bank holidays. The role is a hybrid one, with some time spent working in the office and some time working from a remote location after initial induction and training.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Experience of using Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, is essential. Additionally, you will need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently. A Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship will be completed over a period of 18 months on a fixed-term contract.
