Merchandising Associate

Zapp, a leading digital-first premium convenience retailer, is seeking a dynamic Merchandising Associate to join its e-commerce team. As a key member of the merchandising team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our product range, ensuring our platform remains the go-to destination for luxury convenience retail.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Content Creation: Develop and maintain engaging product content on the Zapp app and website, showcasing our premium convenience products in an attractive and compelling manner.
- Merchandising Strategies: Collaborate with the Category and Marketing teams to plan and develop merchandising strategies, including iconic collections, to drive sales and profitability.
- Feature Development: Work closely with the product and technology teams to develop features on the online platform and app, enhancing the customer experience and driving business growth.
- Analysis and Reporting: Analyze sales data, customer behaviors, and market trends to anticipate customer needs and inform merchandising decisions.
- Performance Monitoring: Define, set up, analyze, and report on the performance of the catalogue, ensuring optimal product offerings and pricing strategies.
- Long-term Development: Develop long-term development strategies for product categories, driving sustainable growth and profitability.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Approach decisions in a data-driven, strategic manner to optimize the catalogue offering and drive business results.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with the marketing teams to determine competitive pricing and promotional activities of product categories, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with procurement to ensure operational excellence, driving efficiency and effectiveness in product sourcing and supply chain management.
- Proven Track Record: Proven track record of creating successful merchandising strategies and managing product assortments, driving sales and profitability.
- Customer Experience: Passion for customer experience, with a proven ability to translate customer needs into business strategy.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of merchandising tasks.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, including excellent knowledge of Google Workspace, particularly Looker, to inform merchandising decisions.
