Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Engineer to join our team in Immingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering, design, fabrication, installation, and project management services meet the highest quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Review initial QCPs from mechanical sub-contractors, including WPQRs, WPS, technical certifications, and internal procedures prior to fabrication.
  2. Sign off on fabrication ITPs and govern throughout fabrication.
  3. Conduct spot-checks of fabrication, audits, set-ups, dimensional checks, etc.
  4. Review NDT results.
  5. Sign off final fabrication dossiers, WCHs, material traces at close of fabrication, and as-built fabrication drawings prior to delivery.
  6. Assist with installation tasks and witness site tests.
  7. Review and sign off final mechanical certification completion forms.
  8. Final dossier and as-built sign-off prior to commissioning handover.

The ideal candidate will have experience working as a Quality Control Engineer in a similar role, with a strong understanding of quality assurance principles and processes.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
