General Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Practitioner to join our team at Newgate Medical Group. As a GP, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, promoting health, and improving outcomes through collaboration, innovation, and ongoing development.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver excellent clinical care to patients, adhering to the GMC standards for good medical practice.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.
- Manage long-term conditions, such as diabetes, asthma, and COPD, and work with nurses and healthcare professionals to deliver care plans.
- Promote immunisations, screenings, and lifestyle interventions to improve patient health.
- Engage in health promotion initiatives, such as mental health awareness, smoking cessation, and weight management.
- Refer patients to relevant agencies and contribute to population health strategies aimed at reducing health inequalities.
- Participate in public health initiatives to address social health determinants and inequalities.
- Collaborate with local services and community organisations to improve patient well-being.
- Take part in audits, research, and quality improvement projects to ensure continuous professional development.
- Qualified GP with a strong understanding of the GMC contract.
- Experience of working in a primary care environment and managing a wide range of medical conditions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ability to follow clinical policy and procedure, with a focus on patient safety and well-being.
- Flexibility to work outside of core office hours, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
