About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Postperson with Driving to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a Postperson with Driving, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and cars, to transport mail and packages
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances

  • A salary of £12.54 per hour, paid monthly
  • Overtime paid at 1.25 x the normal hourly rate
  • 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (pro-rata)

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical fitness to walk for long periods and work outside in any weather
  • A strong sense of community and pride in your work
