Psychiatric Liaison Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Psychiatric Liaison Nurse to join our team at the Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with patients, families, and carers to provide person-centered care and support.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop effective care plans to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide seamless care and promote positive outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members to ensure high standards of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with a strong background in psychiatric liaison nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of mental health legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
