Eventus Legal is seeking an accomplished Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join a well-established, expanding law firm.

About the Role

The incoming Clinical Negligence Solicitor will be responsible for managing their own caseload of clinical negligence matters with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate cases to establish viability of claims
  • Gather evidence such as medical records, witness statements and expert opinions
  • Liaise with clients to discuss the best course of action
  • Prepare and file legal documents
  • Negotiate with defendants' lawyers or insurers regarding settlements
  • Represent clients in court where a settlement has not been reached
  • Advise clients on compensation
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the process
