We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team at North American Construction Services, Ltd. in Pinson/Birmingham, AL.

About the Role

As a Pipe Welder, you will be responsible for welding and joining pipes and related components to connect them securely and maintain structural integrity. You will also install, align, and secure pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools according to blueprints, specifications, and building codes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding and Joining: Weld, braze, solder, and cement joints to connect pipes and related components.
  • Pipe Installation: Install, align, and secure pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools.
  • Layout and Measurement: Accurately measure, cut, and thread pipes using various cutting tools and machinery.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform maintenance and repair work on existing piping systems.
Requirements
  • 6G welding certification
  • Ability to interpret and execute drawings and blueprints
  • Ability to use mathematics to lay out angles, arcs, and circles
  • Travel Requirement: up to 80%
