Job Description

McKinlay Law is seeking a talented individual to fill the role of CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY / DIVERSITY SPECIALIST. This position is based in our London office, where you will play a key role in shaping, developing, and driving the London office's Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Diversity strategies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for acting as a key contact internally and externally for all CSR activity. This may include representing the firm at Pro-Bono and charity events and the CSR network. Additionally, you will prepare and oversee the CSR and Diversity budgets, generate new creative ideas to encourage employees to comply with and further their environmental policy, and help embed and promote the firm's D&I strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to gain real responsibility and autonomy while making a positive impact on the company's CR and D&I initiatives. The ideal candidate must have worked in a law firm or professional services environment, either in a diversity/CR role or in an HR, recruitment, or L&D capacity with exposure to substantial diversity and CSR duties.

Responsibilities:
  1. Acting as a key contact for all CSR activity and representing the firm at relevant events.
  2. Preparing and overseeing the CSR and Diversity budgets.
  3. Generating new creative ideas to encourage employees to comply with and further their environmental policy.
  4. Helping embed and promote the firm's D&I strategy.
  5. Providing diversity information for client pitches.
  6. Implementing and reviewing the D&I policy.
  7. Providing advice, guidance, and support on equality and diversity issues.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, pension scheme, and flexible working hours.
