Hourly Rate: £12.89 - £13.57

Salary: £41 - £41 pro rata per annum (Term Time Only)

Hours: 15

Contract Duration: Temporary until 31/12/

Please note that the annual salary advertised is for a full-time role, based on 35.00/37.00 hours per week. If the position you are applying for is part-time or you are only going to be working part of the year, i.e., a term-time contract for 38 or 39 weeks per year, the annual salary will be paid on a pro-rata basis including a number of additional weeks for annual leave entitlement when the position is term-time.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a key role in the Inclusion and Wellbeing Service, working as a peripatetic Additional Needs Assistant across a number of primary schools in the Scottish Borders. The candidate will be part of the dedicated Peripatetic IWS Outreach team, working in partnership with schools, homes, and other agencies to meet the educational needs of vulnerable children and young people.

Essential Requirements

No formal qualifications are required, but an acceptable standard of school education is desirable. A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
