Senior Nursing Leadership Position

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Nursing Leader to join our team at The London Clinic as a Modern Matron - Oncology and Haematology. This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities- Provide visible, inclusive, and approachable clinical leadership for Cancer Care services.
- Lead, inspire, and motivate nursing teams to deliver and improve patient-centered care, patient safety, experience, and outcomes.
- Ensure efficient and effective human, financial, physical, and environmental resource management to support safe and quality care.
- Actively promote continuous quality improvement, improving person-centered care, financial sustainability, and clinical care standards.
- Ensure systems are in place for effective nurse recruitment and retention, including local induction programs and preceptorship packages.
- Participate in a Silver on Call rota.
- RGN with valid NMC registration and experience operating in a cancer nursing leadership role.
- Strong evidence of people management, including experience of leading specialist cancer services teams.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and inspire nursing teams.
- Experience in managing the performance of nursing teams and clinical nurse specialists to deliver exceptional patient care and improve outcomes.
- Experience of service improvement through robust governance and learning from complaints, audit, patient feedback, staff feedback, and incidents.
- Significant experience of measuring and evaluating outcomes to secure improvement through continuous improvement and active involvement in quality improvement change processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, negotiation, assertiveness, decision-making, and social awareness.
