About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assessor to join our team at EngineeringUK. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing individuals' health and wellbeing to determine their suitability for government support.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough health assessments to identify each individual's unique needs.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining your findings and recommendations for submission to the Department of Work and Pensions.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional service to claimants.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 12 months of post-registration experience as an NMC registered nurse or HCPC-registered physiotherapist or occupational therapist in the UK.
  • Experience working with a wide range of patients with complex physical and mental health conditions is highly desirable.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
