Job Title: Controls Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at DACS Ltd, a leading provider of electrical control solutions in the automotive sector.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position for a Controls Engineer located in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining control systems for a manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes
  • Work closely with installation teams to ensure effective project integration and budget adherence
  • Develop and maintain expertise in control system design, development, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in control systems
Requirements:
  • High-level electrical qualification (ONC / HNC / Degree)
  • Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens)
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA software (FactoryTalk View, Siemens Win CC, Wonderware)
  • Excellent knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus)
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical, Eplan, or other electrical design software
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas and solutions effectively
  • Experience in the automotive industry is a must
What We Offer:

Competitive salary range: £45,000-£60,000 plus overtime, 25 days holiday + statutory days, pension
