Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist provision in Wolverhampton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting vulnerable students with special educational needs (SEN) and challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons and promoting student engagement
- Organize and collect resources for lessons, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment
- Act as a positive role model, inspiring and encouraging students to make positive life choices and behaviors
- Use enthusiasm and creativity to encourage students to participate in lessons and develop a love for learning
Requirements:
- Minimum Maths and English GCSE qualifications
- Driving License (desirable)
- Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN
- Enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
