Electrical Controls Specialist

Vickerstock is working in partnership with a global leader in Veterinary Pharmaceutical R&D and Manufacturing to find an Electrical Controls Specialist.

The successful candidate will conduct daily electronic maintenance on control systems and automated equipment, following company SOPs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing quality-driven changes to improve equipment reliability and collaborating across departments for business solutions.
  • Supporting design, installation, and commissioning of new control systems and instrumentation, and providing technical support for system specifications and troubleshooting.
  • Administering control systems, managing user data, and ensuring compliance with cGxP regulations, while overseeing external contractors' adherence to company procedures.
  • Preparing project documentation for process control improvements and recommending solutions to optimise production systems.

Requirements:

  • Higher-level qualification in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in PLC-based control system fault finding, planned maintenance, and understanding PLC logic code (Siemens/Mitsubishi).
