About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Tanker Engineer to join our Operational Team at Lanes Group plc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating our high specification tankering vacuumation units, working on a variety of projects that include drainage related issues, moving treated and untreated waste product, and assisting with remedial works on utility sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV tankering vacuumation units independently, working on a range of projects that include drainage related issues and waste management.
  • Assist with remedial works on utility sites, including Anglian Water sites.
  • Work on emergency reactive works, responding to urgent requests from clients.
  • Travel to various sites, working in different sectors including industrial, utility, commercial, and residential.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in vacuumation tankering works, with a valid HGV Class 2 licence and a Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). You will also need to have excellent problem-solving, listening, and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team.

Requirements

  • HGV Class 2 licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
  • Excellent problem-solving, listening, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Physical fitness and energy to work in a fast-paced environment.
