Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to provide specialist professional advice and support on a day-to-day management basis. The successful candidate will contribute to the effective provision of a high-quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service to our partners and external customers.

Main Duties

  • Provide specialist professional Occupational Health advice and support on a day-to-day management basis.
  • Support and contribute to the effective provision of a high-quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service to partners and external customers.
  • Maintain and develop high-quality, evidence-based occupational health services to partners and external customers.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Undertake audit and research related to the professional development of OH nursing.
  • Maintain confidentiality in line with professional guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist professional advice and support on a day-to-day management basis. This will include:

  • Providing specialist professional Occupational Health advice and support on a day-to-day management basis.
  • Supporting and contributing to the effective provision of a high-quality Occupational Health and Wellbeing Service to partners and external customers.
  • Maintaining and developing high-quality, evidence-based occupational health services to partners and external customers.
  • Working autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Undertaking audit and research related to the professional development of OH nursing.
  • Maintaining confidentiality in line with professional guidelines.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant nursing qualification and registration with the NMC.
  • Experience of working in Occupational Health Nursing, preferably in the NHS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Good leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in line with professional guidelines.
