We are seeking a highly motivated Airport Car Park Operations Assistant to join our team at Southampton Airport.

As an Airport Car Park Operations Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient running of our car park operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To conduct regular patrols of the car parks on foot or by vehicle to ensure the area is secure and well-maintained.
  • To carry out manual car park counts and record data accurately.
  • To complete vehicle defect sheets prior to using any company vehicle.
  • To assist customers in distress or need of assistance.
  • To maintain the appearance of the car parks and working areas, ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained.
  • To ensure compliance with customer procedures and the handling of money.
  • To utilize relevant systems to ensure the car park is maintained efficiently.
  • To ensure all car parks are gritted in inclement weather and signage is visible for all customers.
  • To engage in radio communication with APCOA bus drivers.
  • To answer intercom queries in a professional manner and deal with all queries according to APCOA's operating procedures.
