About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 Hiab Driver to join our team at Van Elle. As a key member of our Transport Division, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles with Hiab equipment to transport goods to various locations
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues or defects
  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and loading/unloading procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements
  • Valid HGV Class 1 license
  • Hiab equipment training and experience
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
