Weddings and Events Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Weddings and Events Manager to join our team at The Sun Pavillion, a prestigious venue in Harrogate. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional events and ensuring the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the management and staff team in the delivery of a professional, efficient, and cost-effective catering operation at The Sun Pavillion and other venues as required.
* Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards of catering, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
* Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and tasks to support the company's overall objectives.
* Complete event day flash reports and monthly forecast reporting requirements.
* Ensure event billing is completed and submitted promptly for customer invoicing.
* Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of CGC Event Caterers at all times.
* Provide excellent customer service and act as an ambassador for the company.
* Support other CGC Event venues during the off-season.
Requirements:
* At least 5 years' experience in the Events/Hospitality Management industry, ideally in a similar role involving leading a team.
* Financially aware with knowledge of catering budgets, margins, cost of sales, and fixed and variable costs.
* Minimum level 2 Food Hygiene qualifications and knowledge (current certificates).
* Ambitious and self-motivated individual, able to work under pressure to deliver excellent results.
* Full clean driving license and own transport.
