Field Service Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for material handling equipment, including forklifts, across Somerset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend on-site breakdowns and provide prompt, professional service to our customers.
  • Assist customers with queries and provide knowledgeable support to ensure their equipment is running efficiently.
  • Represent our company in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a positive image and reputation.
  • Service, maintain, and repair a range of material handling equipment, including electric and diesel forklifts, reach trucks, and side loaders from leading manufacturers such as Toyota, Komatsu, and Caterpillar.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an engineer, mechanic, or in a similar role, with a strong background in service and repair of material handling equipment.
  • Knowledge of forklifts, fork trucks, and plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and rollers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
