About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Control Analyst to join our team at Universal Music Group. As a key member of our internal audit and compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Lead discussions with business units to improve and update internal controls, including identifying and addressing control gaps
  • Collaborate with the Head of Accounting and other stakeholders to drive improvement across the controls environment
  • Perform walkthroughs of internal controls and operating effectiveness testing
  • Provide support to the Head of Accounting as needed
Requirements
  • Qualified ACCA/ACA
  • Experience in internal audit and controls, including SoX experience
  • Proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Ability to communicate and work at all levels with a large number of stakeholders
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Systems experience of SAP, HFM, Blackline, and Metric-stream desirable
