About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Rolling Stock Technician - Experienced Required to join our team in the West Midlands region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing maintenance activities on locomotives and rolling stock.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working on diesel engines and a strong understanding of mechanical maintenance, along with an electrical appreciation. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will need to be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant experience as a heavy mechanical fitter
  • Knowledge and experience in mechanical and minor electrical repairs and inspections
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • NVQ level 3 in an engineering discipline
Salary and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of up to £42,000 + overtime + van and fuel card. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills and knowledge.
