Senior Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Egger U.K. in East Ayrshire. This is a dynamic role that will drive safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of well-being.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with experience in a manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for providing competent support, advice, and guidance on safety legislation and good practices to all levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and guidance on safety procedures and protocols.
- Oversee incident and near miss investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are taken.
- Plan and conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement safety training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to health and safety.
Requirements:
- NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a health and safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in health and safety management systems, including ISO 45001.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
