About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmaceutical Business Development Specialist to join our team at Clinical Professionals Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for developing business growth across a given territory by establishing strong relationships with core customers and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceutical sales, with experience in developing key account plans to gain formulary status for products. They will also be able to work effectively with key customers and stakeholders across primary & secondary care settings and at payer level.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing key account plans to gain formulary status for products and ensuring further uptake once achieved.
  • Working with key customers and stakeholders to build strategic relationships.
  • Contributing to regional business plans at a strategic level.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in formulary inclusion and medicines optimisation. A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its current trends is essential.

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Qualifications:

  • ABPI qualification
  • Strong pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Demonstrable achievements in formulary inclusion and medicines optimisation
