We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Programme Manager to lead our £100m project in Devon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the project lifecycle, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery.

\Key Responsibilities\

  • Manage the project lifecycle, including planning, execution, and handover.\
  • Ensure expenditure aligns with budget requirements and resources are utilised efficiently.\
  • Implement Health and Safety guidelines and manage risk effectively.\
  • Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.\
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders.\
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team, including sub-contractors.\
  • Oversight of cost, quality, and schedule management.\
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members.\
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.\
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required.\
  • Cultivate strong working relationships with operational teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.\
  • Bid on and win new business opportunities, where applicable.\
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and contribute to organisational goals.\
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to identify new business opportunities.\
  • Support the Director in making strategic decisions regarding the business.\
  • Work closely with other departments to achieve shared objectives.\
  • Promote a positive company image through professional representation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of NEC contracts, and experience working on heavy civils projects. A BSc/MSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is essential, along with proven experience as a Project Manager on a Civil Engineering project.
