Music Teacher Opportunity

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and experienced Music Teacher to join our team in a secondary school in Aberdare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and be able to deliver engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and 4.

Role Overview
  • Teach music to students in Year 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes
  • Develop and implement music curricula to meet the needs of students
  • Lead a classroom of learners and engage them with both classroom and lab-based activities
  • Work in accordance with the school's behavior management policies
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of music teaching experience (exceptions made for NQTs)
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status or overseas equivalent
  • Registration as a Teacher with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) - we can help you with this
  • References covering the last two years (no gaps)
  • Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • The right to work in the UK
