In this role, you will join our on-site team at Worcestershire Acute Hospital Trust as a Medical Equipment Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver a range of engineering services to support our Managed Equipment Service (MES) contract.

**Your Role:**

  • Equipment Maintenance & Fault Diagnosis:

Investigate, diagnose, and repair a wide range of medical equipment, including infusion devices, electrosurgical equipment, anaesthetic machines, vital signs monitors, and ventilators. Prioritize critical equipment to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

  • Preventative & Routine Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and servicing according to pre-planned schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with MHRA guidelines for testing and commissioning of new, loan, or trial equipment.

  • Compliance & Customer-Facing Service:

Ensure all MES services align with company standards for Compliance, Quality, and Health & Safety. Deliver a customer-facing service that meets KPIs and maintains high satisfaction levels among hospital staff.

  • On-Call Support:

Participate in the on-call rota to provide timely out-of-hours support as required, supporting critical hospital operations.
